Plastar Group have produced through the cast process micro-embossed polyethylene films for use in disposable sanitary products. In terms of their production capacity and technological evolution, their growth has enabled us to achieve a leadership position in the local and regional markets. The use of innovative raw materials, supplied by leading companies with a proven track record in the international market, has allowed us to manufacture films of highly versatile physical properties and to design products to meet specific requirements and properties.

Plastar San Luis has produced polyethylene films for agricultural and industrial purposes using the blown process since 1983. Our vast machinery and our state-of-the-art technology have enabled us to produce films of considerable size, consisting of one to three (coextruded) layers. We are leaders in the segment of films for agricultural use thanks to our diversity, quality and production volume. Our PLASTIAGROŽ and SILOBOLSAŽ lines have given us the cutting edge in the development of agricultural products. In the segment of films for industrial uses, we specialize in the production of films, bags and covers utilized in palletization, and of large rolls called Jumbo Rolls, used by the chemical and petrochemical industries in their automatic filling lines (FF&S system). Lastly, we also produce monolayer and coextruded thermo shrink films for continuous thermo shrink lines, in the width and thickness required by our customers.
